Lets Get Some Zen Into Your Life

Im here to help you change your life, and trust me, Im going to tell you that its going to take some serious effort. So heres my challenge to you today.

Before I ask you to do this, I want you to keep an open mind. Take on a meditation practice. Really, take it on.

Give me a minute to explain to you why this is so important in your life. Lend me your ears as they would say.

Nothing will be "gained" from taking on a meditation practice. Absolutely nothing. In fact, instead of calling it meditation, lets just call it a sitting practice.

Every single day, for at least 10 minutes a day (set a timer on your phone) sit on the floor with your legs crossed, close your eyes and focus only on your breath. I dont want you to get guided by tapes, sounds, or anything else. Just your breath.

Breath away and sit there quietly.

Now let me explain what Im really up to here.

When you sit down and focus on being in the present moment, all of the fear, doubt, worry, anxiety and anything else negative effecting your life currently begins to melt out of you. You experience a "falling away" of things instead of trying to always add something new to your life. You begin to sit in a world of simplicity instead of a world of complication.

When the thoughts and emotions fly into your head, let them. Dont get mad at them or try to get rid of them. Just focus on coming back to your breath instead of getting wrapped up in the uncontrollable.

Mediation is about learning how to come back. Thats all. Its about coming back over and over and over again no matter how many times your mind gets distracted. You keep coming back to the only moment you have, the present moment.

Really give this practice a good try. And with any practice we engage in to nourish and heal ourselves, we experience a constant falling in and a falling out of it. We miss a couple of days but then we recommit back to what we know nourishes us and take it back on again.

Always come back to your practices.

If you look at it, churches have become un-adjustable to the changing world. They would rather stick to the ideas of the old world. But its time to accept that change is inevitable as the saying goes. Churches dont address the issues pertained to them directly. In recent years, scandals and controversies have hit the churches. Priests are accused of sexual encounters, pastors are questioned for their glamorous riches and high-ranked church officials are buzzed about their viewpoints on everything. When the churches finally respond, they dont do it directly. They try to dodge the issues to avoid any more mishaps.

Churches hide the real meanings of the Bible. If youre in masses, youll know the priest or pastor has a sermon to tell you the meanings of the days passages from the Bible. Sometimes, the priest or pastor will not actually tell you what the meaning is. They hide it by mumbling their own opinions about the world. Instead of sharing news of the Lord, theyre telling you things that should only be said in private.

Anointed pastors are capable of doing the services of miracles and exorcisms if needed. They may not come often, but in the case of an occurrence, its better to be prepared and the anointed always have the upper hand. As they relay the words of God, they are able to understand beyond any human capability. They see its true meaning and can share various interpretations that can benefit the many who want to hear Gods messages to their hearts.

Prophecies in religions have slowly become true. The end times signal events as the rise of technology and the rise of power in countries that would lead to war. Some people will try to deny it, but if you look at it carefully, its hard to deny that the world is already in the end times. People also believe in other prophets such as Nostradamus, who happened to have made predictions that have come true like his own death. In the end, prophecy is everywhere. You cant escape it. No matter where you are, someone will come by and splatter your ears with prophecies about the world, saying God is going to be gone or Satan is finally here. The only thing you can do to deal with these prophecies is to believe in what you believe and stick to it.
